It’s been a busy year for all of us. Over 150 individuals (including you!) contributed to our kickstarter campaign to build Kaka‘ako Agora -- proof that we could not be here without you. We opened Kaka‘ako Agora in June with a month of free, public arts programming presented by 15 artists and organizations from our creative community.  In the six short months since, the Agora has hosted a whopping 50+ additional community events and gatherings such as films, performances, company meetings, panel discussions, and art-making workshops.

The result: thousands of people enjoyed and participated in the arts-driven vision that you made possible.

Interisland Terminal’s mission is to bring the arts to the center of our community, particularly in the areas of innovation and civic engagement. The Kaka’ako Agora program enables us to reach into the arts community and empower emerging and developing artists to present their work, hone their skills, and find their voice.

2014 marks the fifth year that Interisland Terminal has presented programs in contemporary art, design and film in Honolulu. These programs are presented free of charge or at very low cost, and the organization’s work is carried out by a core team of dedicated volunteers.

As we close a landmark year for our organization in the Honolulu arts community, we ask you to make a tax-deductible, year-end donation to Interisland Terminal to help fund even more creative programming for 2015.
