It’s starting to get hard to keep up! We’ve got a few projects in the pipe (more on that in a blog post later), but in the meantime, many of our partners, associates, and staff members have had plenty of news of their own.
First, our friends over at The Department of Public Works have a show currently going on at the Contemporary Museum Cafe
The Contemporary Museum (www.tcmhi.org) Café Gallery exhibits, “Foray” by the Department of Public Works. The exhibition begins May 4 and runs through May 31, 2010. TCM Café Gallery is located at 2411 Makiki Heights Drive in Honolulu, and is open Tuesday – Sunday from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
This selection of work by four members of the Department of Public Works—Evil Genius, Raul Soria, Kevin Blanchard, and Jared Yamanuha—includes an eclectic mix of graphic design, illustration, sculpture, and photography.
Next up, we want to offer our congratulations to partner and supporter 8 Inc. They were recently awarded the Grand Award from the Building Industry Association for their work on the 280 Beachwalk Property.

Our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, recently featured us on their blog.
I’d imagine it’s attributable to our good behavior :)
Finally, things-we’re-announcing-after-the-fact-but-hope-you-were-able-to-make-it-to:
One of our interns Angelica Rabang recently organized “Sustainability 101 for graphic designers” talkshop in her role as the sustainability chair for AIGA.
Another of our interns, Michelle Carino recently had her work shown in the BFA Gallery on UH campus, and at the BFA design show held on May 6th at Linekoa campus.

Because it’s commencement day and because we’re so thankful to have them, we also wanted to congratulate our interns Jocelyn Kaku and Michelle Carino on graduating from UH!
