Rinus arrived in Honolulu on Thursday evening, from Belgium, via Frankfurt, via San Francisco. It was a LONG flight. Despite a little jet-lag and a couple quick dips in the ocean, he started working in our gallery space. He is creating some new, large-scale drawings to debut at the opening on Wednesday evening. If you’re in Kaimuki these next few days, and you see a tall, sandy-blond haired guy in blue pants, smoking a cigarette with charcoal-covered fingers, feel free to say “hi” introduce yourself to Rinus!

Fresh from Belgium! Drawings that Rinus brought with him, still rolled up, waiting to be flattened and hung.
